| How can I see a sample of an ASUKABOOK? |
You can see samples of ASUKABOOKs at many photography related conventions, seminars, or workshops. We can mail you sample pages printed on the press with the type of paper and different coatings used. You may purchase a sample set if you do not have time to prepare your own, and we also have a limited number of sample sets that we can loan to photographers for short-term viewing. | What is the difference between book bound and stitch bound? |
The Book Bound EX comes in your choice of a red or black book case with silver hot stamping on the front and a book jacket with the same design as the hard cover. The inside pages have a laminate coating with your choice of a glossy or matte finish and varnish.
The Book Bound comes in a frosted plastic book case. Available in a hard or soft cover and a varnish coating on the inside pages.
In both lines of the Book Bound books, the signatures are stacked, cut and adhered to the book spine using perfect binding. You will lose approximately 1/2" in the gutter with this type of binding.
The Stitch Bound comes in a frosted plastic case. Available in both laminate and varnish coatings. In the Stitch Bound book line, the signatures are hand-stitched (saddle stitching) and adhered to the spine of the book. There is minimal image loss in the gutter with this type of binding. |
| Can I change the number of pages/sides in my album? |
Unfortunately, we cannot. In order to keep these albums reasonably priced, you must select from the preset options available.

| What is the difference between pages and sides? |
| No difference at all. A spread of a book has 2 pages or 2 sides. |
